Providing pathways for personal growth and social success.
Michelle Foster
A few years ago, a close family member spoke to me about his friendship struggles. A kind, engaging, and outgoing guy, he didn’t have any trouble making friends but for some reason, they never hung around for very long.
Knowing he wasn’t alone, I searched for a Sydney-based course on friendship. This led to him participating in one of the first PEERS® social communication programs offered in Australia.
Since completing the course, he has never looked back! Armed with new skills and having fine-tuned his existing ones, he now has an established group of long-term friends.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve supported neurodiverse families, helped autistic children transition to school, worked as a counsellor, and trained adults with learning disability in the workplace. Social struggles have been common among most of my clients, and this is where PEERS® can help.
If you want to improve your social confidence, make new friendships, and deepen existing ones, then we can show you how.
